First of all: What are Ben Wa Balls?

How do I pick the right balls for me?

How do you use them?

First: Relax. That's very important. Then cover your balls with heaps of water-based lubricant. You can't have too much lube. It's best to lie down with your bottom slightly raised. Gently insert the ball into the opening of your vagina, it will slide in slowly. If you have two balls attached, slowly push the second ball into your vagina after the first ball. If your balls have a removal loop then leave this hanging out of your body for easy retrieval.

Now that they're in, go about your day! They're great for a slow build-up before sex, or just a teasing sensation as part of foreplay. You can also wear them vaginally during anal sex to create a full sensation.

What not to do

Do not use vaginal balls anally. They can be very hard to remove if you use them anally as they're not designed for butt stuff. You can get anal balls which have a long string, ensure this string always stays outside of your body.

Always make sure your hands and your balls are clean. Never ever use balls without cleaning them first. Wash your hands thoroughly. Use a toy cleaner.

If the balls hurt, take them out. Only wear them for as long as they are comfortable. This will be different for each person.

You can leave balls in your vagina during vaginal penetration as long as you're comfortable. Make sure your strokes are shallow and steady if you're using a vibrator or dildo, or ensure your partner knows to take things slowly.

Using traditional Ben Wa balls

Traditional Ben Wa balls are usually not connected. They generally come in a pouch and don't have attachements so they can be harder to remove. To remove them, put more lubricant into and around your vaginal entrance. First: Don't panic. You can't lose them. Now, after apply lubricant, squat and push down into your ankles. If this doesn't work try coughing. If you begin to fret, that won't help. So have a warm shower and then try the process again, adding more lube. You can use a finger to guide the ball as you push down in a squat.
