Who would have thought that a wardrobe malfunction on the set of the music video Say You'll Be There, would result in the sexiest outfits of the 90s and result in the clip marginally missing out on an X-rating!
I'm sure everyone is familiar with the Spice Girls and their number one hit Say You'll Be There, where the members expertly busted out intense dance routines in their kinky clobber. But who actually knew that these outfits were, in fact, actually S&M outfits straight from a sex shop!
All outfits were made from spandex or leather, but of course being the Spice Girls, they totally pulled it off!
While Victoria Beckham's skin-tight black PVC cat suit and Geri Halliwell's crop top and hot pants combination might have seemed the standard popstar clobber to their fans, Vaughan Arnell, the Spice Girl's video director wasn't so confident.
Arfnell feared that the shoot would be axed and be deemed unsuitable for TV, but instead the video was a mega hit and went on to score the Girls a Brit award.
We are even talking about the clip 20 years later! S&M outfits are clearly the key to success!
