For a basic pump, it does the job and has good, sturdy release valves if you pump it too much.
Unfortunately it doesn't work as well if you have a larger vulva and/or if you have pretty much any pubic hair. It doesn't sit as flat and it takes longer to find the right spot to get suction - even if you use lube to create a better seal.
It's a trial-and-error kind of toy, but once you get it going, it does a decent enough job.
