This is my first pump and the length is good. It is well made and functions well. I wonder if the diameter is too big as I get a bit of an unpleasant pull on the skin around the base so I feel I have to be careful.

Solid construction definitely worth the extra $.

Feels so nice and solid compared to the cheaper air pumps. Has a much better girth than most pumps as well. Highly recommended if you're a bigger guy and looking to move up or going straight there and skipping the cheaper pumps
