Its very minty but def can taste the chocolate... defintly worked while it lasted!!!

It definitely numbed my throat but I waited a minute as the instructions say and the numbness had almost disappeared. Other than that, it did help a bit.
Definately lets your throat take those extra few elusive inches slowing the gag reflex!
