Sex and libido coach Sofie Louise featured stats from the Mega Kiwi Sex Survey to highlight the orgasm gap that still exists in 2026.
“New statistics from AdultToyMegaStore’s Mega Kiwi Sex Survey confirms that this sneaky gap is still going strong, with just 17% of women managing to orgasm every time they have sex. That sits in stark contrast to the 48% of men who are getting across the line every time.”
She also highlighted the fact that because of this, many women are faking orgasms to get things over with.
“We can start to understand this gender difference a little better when we see that the majority of women (58%) have faked an orgasm. And according to this survey, the most common reason for doing so is that women don’t want their partners to feel bad.”
